Product Safety Notices

We issue Product Safety Recalls, Advisories, and Retrofits when necessary to resolve safety concerns related to products already in use. It is critical that you review these notices, and take prescribed actions promptly for any affected products you own or use. Snap-on

Example notices:

  • 2024 – Product Safety Recall: Dog Bowls (2-pack, part SSX22P168)

  • 2023 – No product recalls issued.

  • Product Safety Advisory – Model EEBC500-INT Battery Charger Plus Snap-on

Ongoing Safety Reminders

We periodically share Safety Reminders to reinforce best practices and safe tool usage.

For instance, with our T-series ratchets (¼” square drive, 72-tooth, low-profile design):

  • Use the SPP932 head holder during reassembly to protect your hand when tightening the plate screws.

  • If foreign debris is in the screw hole or the hole depth is excessive, using SPP932 (or SPP938 kit that includes it) can help avoid hand injury. Snap-on
